Open Houses
Informal sessions where you can come along, have a chat and a cup of coffee. You don’t need to know the person holding it; neither do you have to be an NCT member. It’s a good idea to contact the host first to check that the Open House has not been cancelled and to let her know that you are coming – essential if you need directions! All we ask for is a contribution of £1 to the host for NCT funds.

Coffee and Chat Café every Monday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
On Monday afternoon come along to The King’s Arms Hotel, Malmesbury, from 2:30pm till 4:30pm for ‘Coffee and Chat’! Don’t forget to bring a couple of toys to share so that we can keep all babes (and parents!) happy!
Babes in the Wood - Every Tuesday 1pm @Westonbirt Arboretum
Meet up with other parents at Westonbirt Arboretum and enjoy walking with your babe in the wonderful calm surroundings. Just turn up at 1pm outside the Great Hall – those with a buggy are like minded parents, so introduce yourself and enjoy your walk!
Why not get to the Arboretum at 12 noon and have lunch with your little one – there is a microwave to heat baby food in the Maples Café, there are children’s lunch boxes available and many mums have said they feel comfortable breast feeding in the Café or outside areas as well.
Baby changing facilities are available near the Maples Café and near the Great Hall. Membership is available and if you visit more than four times a year, it works out much cheaper than paying for each visit! (Please note this event is not formally organised.)
Friday Fun
Friday Fun is for parents of children of any age. The events are appropriate for different age groups and are meant to be a varied range of activities. Days out include farms, parks, Westonbirt Arboretum, soft play, craft centre etc. Days are not formally organised, the idea is that parents get the chance to experience places with others rather than on their own. Often just a time is suggested along with tips for the venue and parents can come along and meet up with others.

Bumps and Babes
Every Thursday, 10:00-11:30, at The Children’s Centre, Tetbury Hill, Malmesbury. Come along and meet other mums (breastfeeding support, toys and play area, refreshments).
Relax, Stretch and Breathe
Every Monday, 7-8.30pm, Wootton Bassett Civic Centre. Yoga-based exercise for pregnancy and birth (for more details or to book, call 0844 243 6947 or e-mail bookings3d@nct.org.uk.
